Melicytus dentatus

Large shrub or small tree 4-5mt. Small green leaves that are sometimes toothed and spines on branchlets. In spring hundreds of pale cream bell-shaped flowers release a beautiful perfume attracting small birds and butterflies. Flowers are followed by pale grey-mauve succulent berries loved by lizards and birds. Berries are edible.
