One of the largest varieties of lilies in the world, the Giant Spear Lily is popular as an architectural landscaping plant. Forming a basal rosette of large sword shaped leaves to 2 metres long ( sometimes up to 3m) and a flower spike up to 5 meters tall. The long flower heads contain up to 350 nectar filled, rich red flowers. Very tough plant that will tolerate a wide range of conditions.
