Hymenosporum flavum

A small tree to approx 8-10m ( 20m or more in its native habitat), both the large glossy leaves and Frangipani like flowers are features that lend a tropical look. The tubular,   sweet scented flowers, produced in masses in spring, start cream and darken to a deep yellow. Will grow in all but the harshest conditions. A lovely feature tree that attracts honeyeaters and other pollinators.
