Psidium cattleianum

Shrub/small tree typically growing to 3-6 m. Produces yellow green fruit around the size of an apricot that can be eaten raw or cooked. Said to be the best flavoured of the guavas.  Growth starts off slow then rapidly accelerates. Can tolerate only very light frosts and may be deciduous in cooler areas. Germination is erratic, but treatments may help. See internet for different methods.
